Hello! I am a 38-year resident of Fallon, Nevada, graduating from Churchill County High School in 1989. I've been with CCHS since 2012, formerly teaching part-time at Western Nevada College. I am excited to be here teaching at my high school! I teach primarily senior English (British Literature), and I truly enjoy this exciting time in students’ lives. Having four grown children that were all raised in Fallon and graduated from CCHS, I look forward to working with your students through these last public school milestones. I hold a Master’s Degree in English, a Bachelor’s Degree in English/Psychology, and Associate degrees in Fine Art and Art.

I am the current National Honor Society Advisor for CCHS and the Senior Class Advisor. Additionally, I am responsible for coordinating the CCHS Commencement ceremonies each year – a challenge that I thrive on.

I encourage communication about anything you wish you know. Just because your student is 17 or 18 years old, we all know that your job isn’t even close to done, and I welcome parental involvement in these important years in your child’s life.

I pride myself on a respectful classroom and look forward to building new relationships each year. There will be many questions, especially in this “different” year, so please feel free to reach out!
